Mug Terms and Conditions

1. The Mug

References throughout this site to “the mug” refer to a conceptual mug. There is also a physical mug. They are not the same mug, though they are frequently confused, including by me.

2. Fill Level

The fill level displayed on this site is a representation of funding progress and not an indication of actual liquid volume in any real container.

At the time of writing, the physical mug is at approximately eleven percent and has been since Tuesday.

3. Temperature

The mug is room temperature. The mug is always room temperature. I have made peace with this and so should you.

4. Washing

Weekly. Roughly.

5. Chips

The mug has a chip on the rim at approximately the four o’clock position. Users are advised to drink from the other side, though I no longer do.

6. Replacement

In the event that the mug is broken, destroyed, or lost, a replacement mug shall be designated and all references on this site shall transfer to the replacement mug without notice, ceremony, or period of mourning.

7. Sentimental Value

Denied.

8. Ownership

The mug is mine.
