By using this site you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, the back button is right there and I will not take it personally.

What this site is

A personal website where I publish free content: short videos, long story readings, English reading practice, ASMR sessions, and written posts. It also has a page where people can voluntarily send me money and a few links to companies I pay for myself.

That is the whole business model. There is nothing hidden behind it.

Money you send me

Payments made through this site are voluntary support, not purchases. You are not buying a product, subscribing to a service, or entering into a contract. Nothing is owed to you in return.

Specifically:

  • This is not a charitable donation. I am not a registered nonprofit. Nothing you send is tax deductible and you should not treat it as such on a tax return.
  • Payments are generally not refundable, because there is no product to return. If you made an obvious mistake, hit a wrong digit, or your kid grabbed your phone, use the contact form and tell me. I am a reasonable person and I would rather fix it than keep money you did not mean to send.
  • The lanes are not restricted funds. If you type “flight” in the notes field, I will apply it to flight training in good faith. It is a stated intention, not a legally binding restriction, and I am not holding it in a separate account.
  • Chargebacks and disputes are handled by PayPal under their rules, not mine.

Affiliate and referral links

Some links on this site pay me. Kinsta and Tello pay a commission. Ezee Fiber applies a credit to my bill. In every case your price stays the same or improves.

I only link to services I pay for with my own money. That is a personal standard, not a legal guarantee, and you should still do your own research before signing up for anything.

Content, and what you can do with it

The writing, video, audio, and design here are mine unless stated otherwise. Some story readings use works in the public domain, which are nobody’s exclusive property and yours to enjoy freely.

You may quote a reasonable amount with attribution and a link. You may share links anywhere you like. You may not republish whole posts, rehost the audio or video, or feed the archive into a training pipeline and call the output your own.

No warranty, and no advice

Everything here is provided as is. I do not promise the site will be available, accurate, current, or free of errors.

Nothing on this site is professional advice. Not legal, not financial, not medical, not aviation. If you make a decision based on something I wrote and it goes badly, that decision was yours.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. If I somehow am liable for something, that liability is capped at the amount you have actually sent me, which for most of you is zero.

Behavior

Do not attack the site, scrape it aggressively, abuse the contact form, or use anything here to harass another person. I will block you and I will not feel bad about it.

Links to other places

I link out. I do not control what happens on the other end and I am not responsible for it.

Changes

I can update these terms. The date at the top will change when I do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules.
